Hyperion Administrator
Our client, a Fortune 500 industry leader with a global presence, seeks an energetic accounting or systems professional with strong Hyperion skills. This growing company needs someone who can utilize the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) application and Hyperion Planning (HP) to enhance its financial reporting system.
The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of corporate finance experience and 3+ years of HP and HFM administration experience. Financial package product experience (Hyperion Essbase, Planning, HFM, Analyzer, Reports and SAP) is required. Candidate will be Hyperion administrator supporting budgeting, forecasting, close/consolidation and reporting process. The Hyperion Administrator support global users and ensure all process controls and procedures are adhered to. This individual will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining new applications.
Experience with financial consolidations & reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting utilizing Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and HFM; required. Technically competent with a full understanding of Hyperion Retrieve, Hyperion Analyzer, Hyperion Reports; required. Knowledge of UpStream Weblink, desired. Exposure and background with Hyperion and SAP or other ERP system; required. CPA; desired. Technical certifications (e.g. Hyperion Certified Professional); desired. Manufacturing industry experience; desired. Hyperion implementation experience and skills; desired. Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS or related field. Experience in the areas of consolidation and planning. A solid understanding of foreign currency translation and accounting is a must. Analytical and Business Modeling experience is ideal. Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, VBA.
The ideal candidate will possess sound business judgment, and a desire to work closely as a partner with the other members of the team. He/she must also be a collaborative person and an effective team player. This person must have exemplary trouble shooting skills and must be an objective, fact-based decision maker.
