Hyperion Essbase Analyst/Programmer

Looking for someone with a Hyperion Essbase experience.

Opportunity for a <b> Hyperion Essbase Analyst/Programmer/Specialist </b>that will be part of the working for the finance group.  You will be involved in creating and maintaing Essbase application solutions in close cooperation with Development Group.  You must be willing to learn new technology and have an aptitude for picking up technology quickly.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with people at various levels within the user community are essential.


<b>Key Qualifications:</b>
<ul><li>Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, software engineering or related area.
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience with Hyperion Essbase
<li>Knowledge in one or more of the following Hyperion Essbase Tools (Hyperion Essbase Application Manager tool, Essbase Integration Services, Hyperion Objects, Essbase SQL Interface, Essbase Spreadsheet Toolkit, and Essbase Server.)
<li>Experience with design and development of Essbase cubes including experience with Calc Scripts, Reports, database optimization.
<li>Hands on Experience with HAL, Business Rules
<li>Hands on Experience with Hyperion Reporting products such as Reports, Analyzer
<li>Experience with relational database & data warehousing experience.
<li>Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
<li>Must be able to understand medium to highly complex systems requirements.
<li>Ability to learn new technology quickly
<li>Good PL/SQL skills
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills
<li>Team player with ability to work independently
</ul>

<b>Desirable Qualifications: </b>
<ul><li> Experience with Perl, Java programming
<li>Programming experience using VBA, Essbase API*s, Java
