Job description:
RemxIT has a Chevy Chase, MD based client looking to immediately fill it's 3-6mo contract to hire position. (can also be contract only)

Duration: 3-6mo contract to hire (can also be contract only)
Location: Chevy Chase, MD 20815

-Client Needs two sharp IMS DB, CICS-Command Level (not Macro level), COBOL Lead Programmer Analysts to provide leadership and enthusiasm.

-Good analysis and design skills, make changes and enhancements to IMS sales application.

-Client is looking for Perm oriented candidates looking to make a home for a long time with a successful and stable company....Good benefits and generous profit sharing plan.

***Required:
IMS DB, CICS-Command Level (not Macro level), COBOL, temp to hire in 3-6 months

***Desired:
MQ, DB2,

-Candidates need to be sharp, fast, and focused.

-Client does NOT want a person who just wants to do COBOL and nothing else. At some point in the future, the IMS system is going to CICS/DB2 and then probably to Java.

-There is Also a temp opening for a Senior.

-Technical skills: COBOL, IMS, CICS, MQ; DB2, C/S a plus.

-Project Mangement skills ? full life cycle; capable of running 4-6 month projects with multiple teams

-Strong Analysis and ?digging? skills. We do not have documentation on this system; it requires resilience.

-Personality: energetic, sense of humor, willing to run extra mile.
