INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST IV (CS06-046): $3,846 -$4,924. This is an open and promotional recruitment to fill a vacantposition in Information Resources that has been redefined from ITAS-V toITAS-IV. Recruitment period has been extended and will be from June22nd through July 28th, 2006General Duties: This position performs senior level activities insupport of the Finance information system database administrationsupport, data warehousing, and programming of the universityadministrative systems support with an emphasis on the Finance system.The focus of this position is on the implementation, deployment,administration and administrative systems support. Majorresponsibilities include: project management, database administrationand application support, systems analysis/functional consultation,collaborating on standards and procedures, participate in continuingprofessional development, represent the department, and complete staffwork as assigned. This is an Agency Shop position.Minimum Qualifications: Four years of information technology experiencesuch as applications development and maintenance, computer analysis,data analysis, data base design and maintenance, or programming,directing projects, or administering or supervising staff in applicationand database development and maintenance OR one year as an InformationTechnology Applications Specialist III OR equivalenteducation/experience.Selection Criteria:? Requires three years full time work experience in databasedevelopment/administration, data warehousing, data analysis, data basedesign and programming (which will count as part of the four yearsexperience required to meet the Minimum Qualifications).? Experience required in directing projects in administrative systemsdevelopment, implementation, and maintenance.? Enterprise systems Oracle database experience required.? One year as an Information Technology Systems Specialist III orequivalent education and/or experience.?
