Job Description: 


Work with users to define business process and information systems for supporting those processes.


 


Job Qualifications:


Conduct automation feasibility studies.

Develop and present conceptual / functional models and prototypes to users.

Identify needed business / system changes: how to retool the business or system and inter - system and intra - system dependencies.

Establish goals and objectives for process and system performance.

Mastery in evaluating requirements and capabilities.

All specifications follow project guidelines.

Requires analysis of alternatives, recommendations and data mapping.

Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems.

Handle complex issues and discrepancies of opinion by user groups to negotiate resolution and priority.

Assist in formulating, defining systems scope and objectives through research and fact finding.

Assimilates, integrates, and interfaces technical knowledge with business / systems requirements.

Verifies technical system specifications meet business requirements.

Involved in projects converting from non-strategic to strategic systems.

Projects involve more than one user area and more than one system (These projects have a significant impact on department, division and objectives).

Capable of team leading at project level.

Responsible as a manager for interviewing, appraisals, etc.

May participate in these duties as a consultant.


 




Job Qualifications:


MS or MBA preferred.

Minimum of 7 years information systems development experience or equivalent.

Recognized expert in specific product and design of industry related systems.

Handle tasks of high complexity and risk.

Anticipate future trends and potential impact.

Provide leadership regarding tools and systems to complete projects.

Capable of communicating to audiences at all levels of management re: project results / options.

Demonstrates leadership by coordinating the requirements, specifications, design and testing efforts for small to large projects.

Customer Service focused with the ability to multi - task.
