IS COMPLIANCE ANALYST

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:


The Compliance Analyst is the point person for all IS Compliance related activities and is responsible for ensuring that Compliance documentation (procedures, process maps, other related documentation,) throughout the IS organization is current and reflects any changes in technology and processes and procedure. This position will work closely with management in the coordination of testing, maintenance of documentation and remediation of internal controls needed for IS Compliance initiatives. Additional responsibilities include documenting complex processes, analyzing and reporting on self-assessment results.


2. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Compliance
 Documentation
 Remediation of Audit findings
 Research Compliance and Governance requirements
 Special projects as required.

2-3 years experience with generally accepted IT auditing standards

2-3 years experience with Governance and Compliance requirements for Sarbanes Oxley, with Solid understanding of the COBIT Auditing framework

2-3 years experience with ISO 9001 procedures and compliance

Basic understanding of IT concepts such as database, networking, security, and application development cycles, etc.

Ability to identify, measure and evaluate the
design and effectiveness of IT controls
