IS Developer

Create and maintain Essbase application objects including: database outline, calc scripts, data load scripts, security objects, etc.

Maintain, support and manage all assigned applications. This includes administration, tuning, production fixes, upgrades, and routine maintenance of the Essbase applications.

Work with Programming and Operations staff to determine data storage requirements and future needs for servers and data storage devices to support the required performance level of the Essbase applications.

Define and document test cases to effectively test the new components of the data warehouse application.

Work with other Hyperion multidimensional database products, including Excel spreadsheet add-in, Analyzer, Reports, HAL and Hyperion Planning.


Requirements:

Technical:

5+ years in Information Technology

Experience in all phases of the development lifecycle: functional and design specification, database design, documentation, hands-on development, testing, debugging, source control, report writing and maintenance.

Experience with reporting/business tools Hyperion Essbase/Brio is preferred.

Experience in data warehouse/OLAP environments

Familiarity with ETL and database concepts and how they relate to business intelligence solutions

Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate into business intelligence solutions

Proficient in database design, development, and support: MS SQL, Oracle, MS Access. SQL writing skills desired.

Dashboard development a plus

Essbase 6.5 and above desired.
