IS Manager

Our client, located in Rockmart, GA, is seeking candidates for their Information Systems Manager role.

The IS Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all activities of the MIS Department in order to service users within the company. All computer related activities at EFC are controlled by the IS Manager who will also act as a consultant and advisor in the Engineering design environment. Glovia ERP experience is highly sought.

The IS Manager is expected to establish information systems long-range and short-term goals and objectives. Facilitate and contribute to the implementation of information systems applications. Monitor and control the technological and people resources in the MIS department. Stay abreast of 'state of the art' developments in the hardware and software arenas and bring them to bear, as needed, to meet EFC's information needs. Set departmental policies, procedures and guidelines. Establish frequent exchanges with various key managers in the company for obtaining their support and commitment. Provide the necessary training to support EFC's information systems needs. Monitor and control the day to day operational issues in information systems. Participate in the annual planning of capital budgets for the MIS department and for all EFC departments in their respective information system needs. Establish and control department expenses.
