(ISD) Senior Java Developer/ Team Lead

Your will be responsible for leading a small team of developers (will vary by project) supporting multiple back office operations areas. You will work directly with business clients to assess business requirements and develop all project documents, including estimates, technical design, detail specifications, project timelines and testing requirements. You will coordinate with vendors and other technical areas, be hands-on technically when necessary, and report directly to the associate manager with flexibility to assist that manager when needed.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with a Bachelor's Degree and experience in the Brokerage industry. You have full development lifecycle experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office and Visio software, and are a strong leader with good communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. Special skills required include COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS as well as familiarity with server based applications. You also have the ability and interest to grow into a managerial role in the future.

Preferred Qualifications
Any experience with regulatory reporting, physical securities or stock loan, as well as experience with distributed application development using Java, Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, WebSphere and Actuate considered a plus.
