Role Purpose:

Industrial Technologies is currently seeking an Oracle Support Business Analyst. This role provides functional support in the Oracle Applications to the end users. Our team supports Oracle full ERP applications with a Siebel front-end to Oracle Order Management process. Some of the applications being used are Finance (GL, AP, AR, PA, FA,) Manufacturing (Flow), Purchasing (Core Apps and iProcurement), Engineering, Order Management, Configurator, ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning), Quality, etc.

Role Accountabilities:

* Take assignments through the VHD (Virtual Help Desk) system, take direct calls from users via phone, emails, Sametime Instant Messaging, or take an issue that is found when working in an Oracle application and see it through to resolution.
* Incumbent will be required to work with the end users, with other Oracle Support personnel, with the BTP (Business Transformation Process) Team, the Industrial Technologies and IR Enterprise Technical Support Teams, and directly with Oracle Support through the Metalink system.
* Incumbent will troubleshoot an issue to determine root cause of the problem and a recommended solution that would be within the Sector standards and guidelines.

Formal Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in related area of support, APICS certification - nice to have

Skills and Experience Necessary:

* Min 5 years experience in Oracle Functional Applications
* Ability to influence people and resources to achieve desired outcomes in a timely manner.
* Ability to travel approximately 50% and up to 75% during implementation cycle.
* Siebel functional knowledge, especially in conjunction with Oracle applications, is a strong plus for a candidate.
* Functional and Oracle Experience in the Finance area must include strengths related to GL and AP at this time, with a need for AR & PA coming in later implementations.
* Functional and Oracle Experience in the Order Management area must include order-to-ship life cycle.
* Oracle experience must include functional user knowledge as well as troubleshooting skills and must be in 11i versions.
