The Vulnerability and Threat Management Security Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and operational hand-off of various security projects and for providing Vulnerability and Threat Management process coordination for Global Engineering. The Security Engineer will work closely with other engineering verticals on security projects and work with the operations teams to ensure successful deployment of security-related engineering initiatives.

 



5+ years experience and above average technical skills required across a diversity of technology platforms including Windows (all versions), UNIX (all implementations), network (LAN/WAN), IP protocol, and security infrastructures (firewalls, network intrusion detection, etc.). Experience must include system and network design and deployment.Candidate should have familiarity with systems security and compliance issues, security architecture design, network vulnerabilities, network intrusion, and security management techniques and products. Candidate should demonstrate ability to perform data mining. Analysis and presentation using MS Excel and Access tools is required.

 

Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to coordinate and lead global group meetings and be able to develop strong, supportive working relationships with disparate functional groups (e.g., engineering, operations, customer). Experience writing white papers, technical reports, documentation, and presentations is required.
