IT APPLICATION ANALYST LEAD

 

The Principal Financial Group currently has an opportunity available for an IT Application Analyst Lead at our location in Des Moines, IA.

 

Under general direction, design complex business solutions to meet business initiatives.  May provide leadership throughout all phases of application systems development.

 

Bachelor's degree in a computer related field. Proven experience as an IT professional. SQL Server DTS/SSIS packages required.  Knowledge of Crystal Reports and supporting vendor applications a plus.  Basic knowledge of investments, insurance, and financial services products preferred.  Proficiency with database application; knowledge of distributed and/or web programming languages.  Excellent planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as basic presentation and decision-making skills.  Basic leadership skills required; excellent time management skills preferred.  Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.  Basic knowledge of business unit applications preferred.  Some travel may be required, including overnight stays.  May be required to provide on-call support.  Must be able to lift 25 pounds as a physical requirement of the position.
