Full-time
HS Diploma, or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

1 year experience in a Help Desk/Customer support environment.

Expert knowledge of PC hardware installation and configuration.

Experience supporting PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne users.

Ability to function as a team player and motivate team members.

Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows 2000/95/98/NT issues along with IE, MS Office and other desktop applications.

Configuring peripherals such as modems, scanners, printers, CD burners, etc.

Experience configuring and troubleshooting Lotus Notes clients and database clients such as Oracle and SQL Server a plus.

Ability to diagnose problems.

Job Description :
Help desk support, end user support, able to work and correct problems with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2000 and XP, good understanding of networked environment including TCP/IP, Ethernet, Windows 2000 and 2003 server. Able to understand PC related issues and repair. Learn quickly in high-pressure environment. Work well with people.

Provide design and second-level support for the Austin network infrastructure and corporate applications used throughout URS. Work as a key project resource in multiple network related projects managed both locally and from remote locations. Be a focal point for support calls. Troubleshoot issues to isolate problem, then resolve or escalate as needed.

Create and maintain documentation for installations and configurations.

Perform basic network administrative functions such as creating accounts, resetting passwords, managing groups and printers.

Be available for after-hours support for hardware and software related issues.
