IT Business Analyst - Manufacturing

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager who has experience within the Manufacturing Industry. This will use his/her expertise to analyze and document the business requirements, for systems integration, interfaces and processes across the full range of services delivered by the Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: • Define business systems requirements and scope of request by performing front-end analysis. • Complete the analysis of workflows, translate into proper system requirement specifications and recommend automated solutions ensuring business objectives be met. • Complete the creation of test plans and review for quality as required or as identified by IT management. • Assist in the development of business and process models for process re-engineering. • Use SQL or other database skills to Maintain metrics, run queries, and pull reports as needed All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Qualifications :
Job Requirements include the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with 3 years relevant experience or equivalent business experience. • Strong database skills (preferably SQL) including the ability to build tables, queries, and reports • Previous experience compiling metrics to analyze business processes and make recommendations to streamline those processes via the use of Information Technology • Professional Certification or designation would be an advantage • Knowledge of Business process, Project Life cycle, Project management methodologies and relationship building to establish agreed SLA’s. • Capable of establishing a good rapport with department managers and staff through consistent, reliable service delivery. • Broad understanding of the Manufacturing Industry. • Strong problem solving skills and able to prioritize effectively. • Strong communications, documentation and interpersonal skills
