POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This team member will be responsible for the configuration, implementation and on-going support of reporting services required for the startup and launch of the airline. The scope of reporting includes operational reporting from transactional systems including guest services, technical operations, flight operations and financial systems, as well as reporting from information held within data marts and other data repositories.  Additionally, you'll work with implementation partners, hosting vendors and internal IT resources to deliver reporting services to the Virgin America business in a timely and cost effective manner; develop report templates and reports, and partner with key business resources in the development and deployment of business intelligence solutions; focus on enhancing the efficiency of business operations through the effective implementation of technology solutions; ensure system selection, development activities and new requirements are in sync with IT standards, policies and processes; and support the development and deployment of IT governance practices, as they relate to corporate reporting.

 

ESSENTIALS:

Previous airline experience of 3 years or more required / Knowledge of reservation, revenue, flight operations, technical operations and financial systems / 5 to 10 years experience in a business analysis or project management role / Previous experience working with diverse, geographically distributed functional and technical teams / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
