IT Certification and Accreditation Analyst, Senior

Key Role: Assist a DoD client in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) activities in accordance with DoDI 5200.40, DITSCAP, or DoDI 8510.bb, DIACAP, and DoD 8500.1 and 8500.2, Information Assurance. Complete extensive V&A documentation and security testing and review of existing network enclaves. Assess the Information Assurance (IA) risk of IT systems,?analyze the IA architecture of IT systems for compliance with DoD service and client policies and requirements, coordinate with client staff on the completion of key C&A documents, and review system security authorization agreement documents and similar locally formatted system implementation profile documents for integrity and completeness with respect to testing and risk analysis. Coordinate and communicate with the Echelon II Command/COMPACFLT and Navy Operational Designating Approval Authority for review of C&A documents leading to issuance of authority to operate. Assist?with presenting C&A documentation to client leadership and use technology, including teleconferences, e-mail, messaging, and dynamic document editing to coordinate C&A activities with dispersed team members and clients. Support geographically dispersed clients, managing client expectations and maintaining client satisfaction. Assess the impact of changes to DoD, service, and client policies from a client perspective and as a business opportunity and?identify additional certification and accreditation opportunities. This position will be located on Kauai, HI, with reachback support on Oahu and the US mainland.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-5+ years of?experience in a similar role required

-Experience with?developing and reviewing C&A documents required

-Experience with IT/IA, DoD 8500 policies, IA controls, IA testing, and risk assessment methodologies required

-Knowledge of?DITSCAP and DIACAP requirements required

-Knowledge of the military support environment required

-Possession of advanced skills in Microsoft Office required

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills required


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

BA or?BS degree in a related field?required
IT/IA Security, CISSP, A+, or Security+ Certifications?preferred
