IT Consultant, Sup/Mgr NFP

The consultant will perform general IT and business consulting related to effective non-profits business operations. The candidate should possess a broad understanding of general and non-profit specific technologies and possess at least five years of related experience. The types of projects that will be conducted will include: business and operational reviews, IT-based risk assessment, business continuity planning, staffing analysis, network system design, database system selection and implementation management.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, extensive project management experience and the ability to multi-task and operate independently.

The candidate will ideally have significant experience working directly for non-profits or in a related consulting capacity for this industry. The non-profit experience is a functional aid as well as a strategic client service position - people that have done your kind of work are the ones helping you. Having worked for non-profits is preferred over having had them as clients.

The CAE - Certified Association Executive - designation is preferred. This certification covers a broad range of non-profit specific skills and knowledge.
