IT Inventory Control Associate

The IT Inventory Control Associate is a member of the IT Business Management team responsible for the administrative duties required to support the IT inventory control process; reporting directly to the Associate Director, IT Business Management.

 

The main area of responsibility for this position is to provide overall support related to the inventory control of IT goods and services.  This position will be responsible for adhering to the inventory control policies and procedures set forth by the Associate Director, IT Business Management.  This position will interface with senior IT management, non-client facing departments, and corporate vendors.



Qualifications

Job Experience & Education
Technology inventory control experience (a plus)
Prior administrative and organizational experience
College degree preferred
Minimum 2 years experience

Skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent PC skills (specifically MS Word and Excel)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions
Responsible for working with all IT teams to ensure consistent inventory management.  In addition, manage and maintain the ITBM inventory which includes ongoing account administration (i.e. teleconferencing) and the software library.
Conduct technology asset disposal for all sites nationwide via documented processes set forth by the Associate Director, IT Business Management.
Responsible for telecommunications infrastructure management which includes vendor relationships and inventory IMAC functions.
Conduct and maintain the internal auto discovery toolset and generate reporting where applicable.
Work closely with the preferred vendor base on a day-to-day basis.  This will include evaluating various processes to streamline the interface between IT inventory control and each vendor (i.e. customized web sites, online requests, etc.)

 
Responsible for inventory related task and small project work as assigned by the Associate Director, IT Business Management.
