GreenLine Systems is currently engaged on several projects involving border security, anti-terrorism and counter-proliferation missions.  To support those projects, we are looking to expand our DC presence. Currently, we are seeking a motivated, hard-working, dynamic IT Manager, to join our DC team and be a key player in the successful delivery of these projects.

 

IT Manager/Systems Administrator

 

Description:

 

We are seeking a senior-level IT Manager/Systems Administrator to manage our server and network infrastructure based on a Microsoft .NET platform. We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals that want to play a key role in enhancing our supply chain risk management platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

? Install, configure, maintain, monitor and support internal and clients? IT infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wired and wireless networks, servers, laptops, printers, etc.

? Manage and support telecommunications infrastructure including T1 / DSL connections, IP telephony, and VPN / remote access.

? Responsible for IT security and disaster recovery / business continuity.

? Participate in product design and testing with product management, software engineering, and QA teams.

? Manage the release, deployment and support of the GreenLine application suite at customer sites.

? Provide technical support to end-users.

 

Requirements, Knowledge and Skills:

? Minimum requirements include Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience.

? 7+ years experience of progressive work experience as a Network Engineer / Systems Administrator.

? Expertise in Windows XP, Windows Server 2000/2003, DNS, Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server.

? Expertise in configuring and managing enterprise-grade switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPN, load balancing devices, and Dell or HP / Compaq servers.

? Experience in security best practices for Windows 2000/2003 based networks and servers, as well as that for various applications like IIS, SQL Server, and BizTalk.

? Experience in designing and managing highly available and fault-tolerant IT infrastructures in an enterprise data center environment.

? Experience in Exchange, Outlook, POP/SMTP, FTP, network and host monitoring tools, backup / recovery hardware and software, server imaging tools, Virtual PC, and remote access tools.

? Excellent organizational and communications skills

? Ability to work independently, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain patience in high-pressure situations.
