IT Manager of Network and Systems Administration

The Hibbert Group is a 125 year old national marketing support services firm of international scope, whose customers include many of the largest and most successful companies in the world.  We support our clients by providing services in Literature Fulfillment and Distribution; Program Administration, including Sales Promotion Programs, Rebates and Marketing Programs; Direct Marketing and Database Management; and Advanced Technological Solutions.  Currently, we are seeking an IT Manager of Network and Systems Administration. 

 

The candidate will be responsible for the on-going evaluation of the current infrastructure and the design/management of the future infrastructure in accordance to corporate needs.  In this role, the person will be responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the acitivities of the company's computer and voice facilities.

 

This position includes management oversight of a current staff for:Voice and network communications/telecom/UNIX & Windows servers/desktop computers & telephone/and help desk.Assessment and on-going evaluation of the current network infrastructure.

- Network connectivity and integrity

 - Network hardware and the physical planning topologyPrepare and manage budgets.  Control expenditures.Plan and coordinate staffing levels and control the allocation of resources.Manage activities within the operations to ensure that production/operational deadlines, project schedules, and customer service goals for delivery of all services are met.Provide direction for developing solutions to cutomers business problems and/or intiatives and make changes where/when necessary.Direct and foster the development & implementation of new standards and procedures that effectively support current and future objectives.Understand and identify infrastructure issues with an eye toward cost reduction.Evaluate and recommend industry leading software packages and technology that would enhance the company's objectives.Create and maintain the infrastructure's strategic direction and the resources to successfully attain the established goals.Reports directly to SVP, communicating project plans and progression.
