The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Job Description 


The Centre IT Lead is responsible for leading and managing the IT Operations in the respective delivery centre of the Unit, for which he / she is being hired for.

IT Operations in a Delivery Centre would cover the full spectrum of infrastructure technology work. 

 

The Job would involve the following aspects:

 

 ? Single point responsible for delivering the IT Infrastructure Services in the Delivery Centre.

 ? The Delivery Centre will comprise of all or some of the following Accenture Businesses:

 ? Application Outsourcing, Management and  Development

 ? Business Process Outsourcing

 ? Contact Centre

 ? Systems Integration.

 

The IT Services delivered in a Delivery Centre will include but are not limited to the following:

 

 ? Network (LAN / Wan) Management
 ? Server Management
 ? Workstation (desktop-laptop) management
 ? Support Desk management
 ? Security / Patch management
 ? Operating Systems (Windows ? NT, XP, 2003/ Lotus Notes etc) support
 ? Voice / Telephony support

 

The Delivery Centre will comprise of all or some of the following Accenture Businesses:
 ? The Centre IT Lead will have the entire IT Operations team working under his / her leadership. The IT Operations team comprises of Consultants, Sr. Analysts

and Analysts in the areas of Networking / Server Technology and Workstation Support. The size of the operations team depends on the size of the Delivery

 Centre, volume of business, and hours of operation.

 ? The Centre IT Lead is one point responsible for delivering the committed service levels to various customers and businesses operating out of the Delivery

   Centre. The service levels are governed by the Operating Level Agreement with ATIS GDN Unit.

 ? The Centre IT Lead is also responsible for delivering IT Services within the IT Budget allocated. 
 ? It is expected that the Centre IT Lead will implement various measures to optimize the cost of IT services in his / her respective Delivery Centre after securing

agreement on the measures from senior leadership.

 ? Participate in various review discussions both within and external to the ATIS GDN Unit.

 ? The Centre IT lead will be responsible for building and leading a team of skilled and motivated operations staff in the Delivery Centre. In a case where the

 Delivery Centre is new and the team needs to be built from scratch, the Centre IT Lead will need to get involved in the recruitment process of the team along

   side of Human Resources.

 

Qualifications

 

?8-10 years of experience managing a team responsible for the effective delivery and management of IT Services
?8-10 years of experience in developing/managing a skilled and professional operations team (consultants and analysts).
?8-10 years of experience successfully delivering IT Services in line with established Operating Level Agreements.
?8-10 years of experience delivering the IT Services within budget.
?8-10 years of experience implementing effective operations management processes and controls.
?8-10 years of experience on one or many incident Management systems (software/tools) to effectively track/manage incident statistics.
?8-10 years of experience in effective IT Operations management and leadership skills
?8-10 years of strong technology orientation and knowledge regarding various components of IT such as; Network, Firewalls, WAN, LAN, Cabling, Servers, Voice, etc.
?8-10 years of experience in vendor management skills
?8-10 years of experience in effective risk assessment skills
?8-10 years of experience in effective client management skills
?8-10 years of experience understanding of quality standards & processes (e.g. ISO27001, ISO 200000, IIL Framework etc.)
?College Degree or 8-10 years of equivalent work experience required.
? Moderate level of travel required.
