IT Operations Service Manager
IT OPERATIONS SERVICE MANAGER
Angie?s List is searching for an experienced IT Operations Service Manager to join our team. The candidate selected to fill this position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer, and will join the company?s existing IT team.
The Angie?s List technology team consists of application engineers, quality assurance staff, product managers, and operations staff. This team develops & maintains several interactive websites, internal client side applications, and the Microsoft SQL Server databases.
General Requirements:
? Experience managing a national consumer service web site, like angieslist.com
? Demonstrated ability to work independently & in small team environments
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills & an ability to communicate with technical & non-technical staff
Technical Requirements:
? 5+ years of proven IT Operations Management experience
? Knowledge of & experience with Microsoft and DELL technologies
? Working experience with the ITIL framework
? Experience managing activities with hosting, outsourcing, and service companies
Plusses:
? Experience implementing IT related processes
? Experience with a high growth rate web site
? Experience managing Enterprise Software systems
? Knowledge of volume and stress testing methods
? Experience working with a Quality Assurance staff
? Degree in Management or related field
