IT Prof 3 (NW Telecom)

- Maintain, support, configure and install site network, servers and workstations.

- Provide support & troubleshooting to both the local site and remote locations.

- Administer servers including installation, problem resolution, system tuning, planning upgrades and testing of existing environment as well as new configurations/products where required.

- Maintain and integrate core local area network and VoIP systems

- Research and apply new technology where directed/required.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration and network integration experience working in a mid-to-large scale environments.

- Experience with Microsoft components including Active Directory, Exchange, IIS and SQL is a must.

- Strong integration skills a plus

- 3+ years of experience configuring & troubleshooting a switched and/or routed environment

- VoIP skills also a plus

- A solid understanding and proven experience in LAN/WAN environments and TCP/IP is required for support and configuration on the LAN level.

- Proven backup and storage management techniques are a must

- Configuration management and remote support skills are required

- LINUX skills are desired

- Excellent written and oral communication and client service skills required.

- Ability to work independently within a team environment.

- A BS in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience is desired.
In pursuit of or currently holding MCSE or CCNA Certifications.
