Responsible for the overall coordination and execution of a set of related IT projects organized under a Program. Drives and coordinates the analysis to refine Program and individual Project scope and approach with multiple IT teams. Works with Sr Mgmt to ensure alignment of Program scope to overall IT objectives. Provides support tools and operating mechanisms to the individual projects to ensure consistency and quality. Provides communication mechanisms to all impacted areas including Operations, IT leadership and business partners. Works closely with the Project Managers and the IT teams to define individual project scope and objectives. Serves as escalation point to Project Managers for issues. Typically not an individual contributor to the project but instead provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams under the Program.

Qualifications:


5 to 7 years of experience in managing complex, cross-functional IT projects.

Consulting background preferred (IT or Big 5)


Required: Experience with PCs, including experience with business productivity tools including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, email and internet;
Strong knowledge of technology and IT industry.
Preferred: Strong technical background in a variety of systems environments, with ability to understand technology as it pertains to supporting business objectives.

Excellent analytical, business and consultative skills.


Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to promote positive relationships within IT at all levels.
Demonstrated initiative, independent results-driven worker, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated documentation and meeting facilitation skills.
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project or resource deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to manage external consulting vendor teams.



Education:
College degree in Information Systems, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
PMP Certification preferred.
