This position will provide project management for IT related projects in the Financial Processes area. This job will coordinate all activities related to a project and be the focal point for all communications, status, budget and schedules. One or more projects could be managed concurrently.

Develops, executes, coordinates and monitors overall project plans, tasks, and milestones.
Owns the overall project scope, schedule and resources.
Defines project organization and responsibilities.
Ensures that project team members have skills appropriate for the project.
Ensures that all project team members understand project approach, methodologies to be used and standards to be followed.
Manages project leaders and staff (both internal and external) and provides timely feedback on performance.
Address and resolve any project team issues.
Monitors and manages overall project finances within the approved budget.
Ensures that project is aligned with business and IT strategies and business drivers.
Ensures that each project continues to be viable when measured against its business case.
Implements management processes to identify, report, and monitor issues and risks and to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
Develops, implements, and executes the overall project communication plan.
Addresses any remote communication issues for offsite project team members or clients.
Provides project status updates the IT Director of Administrative Processes, Program Administrator, project sponsor(s), Business Process Owner, and stakeholders.

Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Business or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in IT project management, preferably in the financial area.
Experience in leading intermediate size projects, which could have a high degree of complexity, high risk, significant business change, high profile or customer facing, span business and functional boundaries.
In depth knowledge of and practical experience with project management and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Mapping tools.
Knowledge of and experience with SAP and its ASAP methodology.
