IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Builders Mutual Insurance Company, an AM Best 'A' rated insurance provider for Southeastern homebuilders, is looking for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to join our top notch IT Team! In this key position you will assist in the creation and maintenance of QA processes and procedures, the development and administration of automated testing tools, and the administration of standard test data to drive the entire testing process.

 

ResponsibilitiesUtilize/refine software and system testing processes Develope and execute test scenarios to ensure production software releases are error/defect free, and system functionality conforms to documented system specifications Assist with eBusiness support endeavors including phone-based support for outside customers, internal personnel, and field personnel

Qualifications Knowledge of, and practical experience with, the following testing types is required: Unit Testing ? individual program testing; Functional Testing ? specific testing across multiple program units; Integrated Testing - testing the complete integrated system; Regression Testing ? running specific tests designed to ensure existing functionality was not altered following system and/or software changes or enhancements (usually requires use of automated testing tools); Stress Testing ? appropriate load and performance testing BS in Computer Science or other technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3 years' experience with business support operations in a property and casualty insurance setting 3 years' experience with automated testing tools (TestPartner preferred) Excellent command of scripting language (VBAssist or similar) Effective communication and presentation skills Successful track record translating business requirements and system specifications into test plans Superior organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional, time-intensive manner Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with people at all levels across the organization



Preferences

Knowledge of CSC Policy Issuance System a plus
