IT SOX Analyst

We are seeking an Information Systems Sarbanes-Oxley Analyst/Coordinator. This position is located in northern Suburb of Detroit and may have opportunity to convert to direct client position. This position will consist of the following job responsibilities: Day to day CT/SOD Coordinator tasks including: obtaining and providing transactions as well as user access information regarding Critical Transactions (CT) and Segregation of Duties (SOD). Consolidate and retain review information in a central repository. Identify all applications that should be included in the Critical Transactions and Segregation of Duties scope of the review. Formally engage with the sites to ensure that only valid requests are received and the processes are adequately being adhered to. Provide assistance to the sites to answer Critical Transactions and Segregation of Duties questions and resolve issues that may arise. Assist in identifying gaps in CT/SOD processes and procedures as well as areas for significant improvement, optimization and automation.

To be successful in this position, you must possess 1 to 2 years of work experience with IT general controls and Sarbanes-Oxley experience along with an in-depth understanding of internal controls and process improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is required. Experience using Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes preferred. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills possessing the ability to drive tasks to completion is required. Candidates must have a broad understanding of the financial systems in the manufacturing industry and have strong business sense and the ability to understand complex business issues. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills along with experience interfacing with the end users are required.
