IT Services Coordinator - (TM11654)

Centene Corporation provides multi-line managed care programs and related services to individuals receiving benefits in Medicaid, including Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and the State Children's Health Insurance (SCHIP). Centene operates health plans in seven states. In addition, the Centene contracts with other healthcare organizations to provide specialty services including behavioral health, disease management, nurse triage and treatment compliance.

Position Purpose:
Serve as the first line for receiving and triaging requests for IT services from internal and external customers.

Knowledge/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent with CRT/RRT certification preferred. Six to twelve months of associated experience.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
o Serve as a liaison between IT and Operations, in support of the IT HelpDesk and Application Development staff
o Triage and monitor requests for IT services from Clinical Operations
o Serve as second-tier support for customer reporting questions and issues, especially Outcomes
o Work with the Education, HR and Quality, to provide input to employee training on system enhancements and on general IT policy
o Provide input to design of system enhancements, on behalf of Clinical Operations
o Quality assurance / testing of system changes, prior to release
o Log, track and report on IT Department activities
o Represent the IT Department in key administrative areas, such as working with QI on development of Policies and Procedures
o (Optionally) Provide basic on-demand ad hoc reporting to Operations, from Access and SQL Server data sources
