IT Software Architect

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

1. Knowledge of IT systems, significant experience in software development, current architectural approaches and software development tool sets

 

2. Familiarity and experience working with a Software Development Life Cycle and strong process orientation.

 

3. Strong organizational and communications skills required.

 

4. BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering with experience in Healthcare software development.  Masters degree preferred.

 

5. Experience in enterprise architecture and integration into third party systems to create a harmonious application environment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

1. Knowledge of technical aspects in hardware, networking and business continuity planning.

2. Experience managing security and business continuity aspects and ideally HIPAA compliance.

3. Strong Interpersonal skills.

4. Available for travel as needed.

5. Sense of urgency and accountability to internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions:

 Working with a team of software engineers.Serving as the application and system architect to develop and maintain a roadmap that reduces overall complexity of systems and drives operational performance and efficiency.Plan and assist with operational, strategic and integration projects in liaison with the Project OfficeWorks with CIO and Enterprise Software Development Manager on system-wide data management and business continuity effortsResearches and recommends procurement decisions for development technologies and toolsDevelop and maintain an Enterprise architectural roadmap.
