Job Description: Assist in the design, configuration, testing and implementation of a segment wide Oracle Retail (Retek) application for the Disney Company. This individual will work with the business and integrator to develop a successful ?vanilla? implementation of the Oracle Retail application. This person will also be responsible for transitioning the Oracle Retail Application into production, along with assuming on-going day-to-day support and enhancement responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience

Minimum 3 years proven experience and strong understanding of Oracle Retail (Retek) application suite including the following modules: Oracle RMS (Retail Merchandise System), RDW (Retail Data Warehouse), SIM (Store Inventory Management), RPM (Retail Price Management), RDF (Retail Demand Forecasting), RDM (Retail Distribution Management), Design & WebTrack

Proven Domain expertise in multiple technical areas

Proven knowledge EAI Middleware environments

Proven solid retail industry knowledge

Proven strong knowledge and background in systems analysis, program design and specification, coding, testing, and documentation as it relates to an Oracle Retail (Retek) implementation

Proven skill, familiarity and experience with Oracle databases, SQL and Oracle Forms & Reports

Proven knowledge and understanding of the Unix operating system

Proven familiarity and experience with Oracle Pro*C and Java technologies

Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven understanding and working knowledge of these additional Oracle Retail application modules including RIM (Retail Invoice Matching), ReSa (Retail Sales Audit), ARI (Active Retail Intelligence), RTM (Retail Trade Management), Merchandise Financial Planning, Item Planning, Category Management, Retail Allocation and the RIB (Retail Integration Bus)

Demonstrated strong facilitation and presentation skills

Demonstrated strong partnering skills

Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone etiquette skills
