IT Specialist/System Administrator
Dynamic and energetic individual needed for a full time position with a rapidly growing company. Come grow with us! Experience required and a strong academic background is a plus!
Responsibilities include:
1. Management of all internal computer systems (90% Windows 10% Mac)
2. Maintain system performance, reliability, and security in order to ensure maximum uptime of application servers.
3. Install, manage, troubleshoot, and support all enterprise software.
4. Help in formulating short and long term corporate IT strategy.
5. Hardware and software procurement.
6. Responsible for network security and disaster recovery.
7. Responsible for corporate licensing and compliance.
8. Work may require evening and weekend hours
9. User desktop support (through Active Directory and basic administration)
Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years experience working in IT
2. Experience installing, supporting, and administrating enterprise software. Specifically Microsoft Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, XP Professional.
3. Experience with routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
4. Previous experience with all areas of IT support including remote access and help desk.
5. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
6. Familiarity with Accounting software (specifically Microsoft Great Plains) a plus.
7. Bachelor?s degree in related fields preferred.
8. MCSE certification a plus.
