Technisource is currently looking for an IT Support Coordinator in Bridgeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Help Desk Support and Documentation:

*Provide resolution and/or direction to all end user inquiries

*Utilize remote control capabilities (via WebEx software) as necessary to confirm, diagnose or resolve end user issues. This capability requires that ActiveX controls are installed as part of the image to end users not having admin rights

*Log all inquiries and responses in our service management system, including time of submittal, status, response/resolution to questions or issues, ownership, and time of response

*Categorize all inquiries to allow for problem analysis

*Allow for the creation of electronic and hard-copy management reports

*Escalate issues to appropriate organizations that will be defined during setup phase

Level II/Level III Desk-side PC Support:

*Support of Base Image applications and Operating System

*Installation of Microsoft OS patch and service packs

Applications

*Installation, configuration and connectivity support for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)/*Shrink-wrapped* applications and IBM specialty applications as identified

PC hardware

*Problem diagnosis and troubleshooting

*Upgrade support

*Installations, Moves, Adds and Changes (IMAC)

*Vendor-certified on-site hardware warranty repairs and maintenance support

Desktop-centric devices

*Installation and connectivity support for IBM-approved PDA devices and peripherals as identified

*Installation, connectivity and driver support for local printers

Network infrastructure connectivity

*Verification of connectivity of wall jacks to PC

*Verification of connectivity between network switch and wall jack

*Escalation of network infrastructure issues to appropriate IBM and/or IBM parties

Security and access

*Management of user rights and security settings at local PC

*Coordination with appropriate Help Desk or IBM IS resources to establish necessary accesses or resolve access issues

 

The ideal candidate will possess all of the following certifications or equivalent experience:

MCP

A+

CCNA

Candidates should be available to start 07/31/06.
