IT Support Specialist

The position of  IT Support Specialist is responsible to support the end user, including the affiliate banks, for all specialized IT software; provide custom reports for internal customers; set up and maintain the IT product software specifications. 

 

Requirements:

 

?  AA degree from  year college or university; and three (3) or more years of related experience and/or training; high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of intermediate knowledge of specialized IT software operation and specification of the core deposit and lending applications. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. 

?  Intermediate knowledge of all other specialized financial IT data processing applications. 

?  Ability to train internal users on specialized IT products. 

?  Knowledge of teller, new account and loan boarding functions; familiarity with account analysis. 

?  Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies. 

?  Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer (ITI) system; and word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel, CFI DepositPro, etc.). 

?  Typing skills to meet production needs of the position. 

?  Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. 

?  Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors. 

?  Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees. 

?  Ability to deal with production problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations. 

?  Effective organizational and time management skills. 

?  Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
