IT Systems Analyst

Provides an advanced level of technical support to on-site and remote users for The Salvation Army units in MD & WV, including Windows OS, Lotus Notes and Security Practices; answers questions, resolves complaints, repairs equipment, changes software configurations, installs new hardware and peripherals and other duties to ensure that requests for service are addressed in an efficient, timely and courteous manner; ensures that sites and users are functioning within the approved company guidelines.

Monitors, troubleshoots and maintains the day-to-day operation of computer hardware and software at an optimal level of functioning. Completes setup of approved equipment and performs installation and instruction in use of new computer equipment; instructs field users in setup and proper use of new equipment. Plans and provides individual training sessions for end-users. Assists IT Director with management of LANS and WAN, including securing information and systems. Completes routine data and systems backups. Prepares and maintains user and technical documentation.
