Pentucket Medical Associates, an affiliate of Partners Community Healthcare, Inc., is currently seeking an IT Systems Specialist to provide end user computer support and IT infrastructure management. Duties include server and network administration, deployment of new hardware and software, and local support for corporate applications.

The IT Systems Specialist will have significant responsibility for our new Electronic Medical Records system including end user training, troubleshooting, software customization, and development of interfaces.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years experience on Windows platforms required; UNIX preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a help desk or front-line support role
- Microsoft Exchange support experience required
- Experience with Cisco data systems preferred
- Experience with HL7 or other healthcare interfaces a plus

In addition to these technical requirements, we are looking for candidates with excellent trouble-shooting skills, a demonstrated commitment to customer service, dedication to producing quality work within specified timeframes, and the ability to act as part of a team and form liaisons with other groups to achieve desired results.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a diverse workforce and all levels of management. Local travel and flexible hours as needed to ensure appropriate system availability will be necessary.
