IT Technical Support

Position Summary:
Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, technical staff, and management.
Work closely with management and staff in assisting with all areas of department operations.

Essential Functions of this Role:
? Excellent communication skills are required in this high profile, customer service environment. Must exude a positive image that reflects well on the organization.
?Must possess strong technical knowledge with several years experience in supporting personal computers, MAC computers and general information technology.
? Candidates should be experienced with the installation, setup, configuration and support of computer systems, MAC computers, Adobe products and Microsoft business applications.
? Must be detail oriented and demonstrate exceptional communication, documentation and organizational skills required to plan, research, document and perform application and system installations, deployments, upgrades and maintenance.
? Expected to utilize experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish specific project goals relating to IT infrastructure while allowing for a certain degree of creativity and latitude.
? Will work closely with IT management providing current information on projects assigned, including deployment plan and objectives, and regular status reports and project progress.
? Must be a self-starter, work independently, and under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills Required:
* College Degree or at least 5 years experience in a high profile customer service environment.
* Ability to follow through on tasks and a 'can do' attitude is required.
* Must be proficient in, or demonstrate the in the use of all Microsoft Windows and Office products as well as Adobe design business applications such as Illustrator and Photo Shop.
* Experience with, Acrobat Design and general business applications.
* Proficient in supporting both PC based and MAC computer systems.
* Must have a strong attention to detail, meticulous documentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be responsible for interfacing with several areas of company as well as maintaining close communication with technical staff, managers, and vendors.
* Must be able to work as part of a team and with a diverse group of people and projects
* Previous work experience in a customer service environment is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:
* May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday

Scheduling Requirements:
* Must be available to work occasional off-hours
* Must be available during standard business hours
