IT Vendor Manager - Infrastructure Operations and Support, Infrastructure Managed Services

And that's just one example of the dozens of upgrades and improvements currently underway.

 As our IT Vendor Manager on the Infrastructure Operations and Support team (IOS) - Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS), you'll work with a team to manage Nike Global IT out-sourced service provider relationships/agreements. You'll collaborate with Nike team members and partner with IT vendors to evaluate the scope of relationships/agreements, including service performance, service level analysis, modifications and maintenance to existing contracts, as well as implementing new relationships/agreements on a global scale. You'll manage specific supplier relationships and lead negotiations for complex global enterprise-wide projects. You'll also utilize your strong vendor management, analytical, written and verbal skills to build strong vendor relationships to support Nike IT department system needs. In addition, you'll have a panoramic view of all systems and processes in order to support Nike's global business.



Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree
An MBA is preferred
5 years' experience in IT procurement, vendor management, contract management or a related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements and complex concepts into contractual and legally defensible language
Proven ability to influence, negotiate and resolve complex issues and disputes while maintaining patience, courtesy and integrity
Strong working knowledge of contract law and purchasing principles for IT departments
Experience in an out-sourced and in-sourced environment is strongly preferred
Coursework relative to vendor program management, contract management or procurement (contract law, finance and negotiations) is preferred
