ITS National Director of Technology to Deloitte Tax (Location Flexible)

The ITS National Director of Technology to Deloitte Tax LLP ("Deloitte Tax") has overall responsibility within the Information Technology Services organization for providing Deloitte Tax technology services and support including participation in requirements development, review of requirements to determine compatibility with firm architecture and infrastructure, and the coordination of technology services and
support delivery.? This role is responsible for working with Deloitte Tax leadership, the National Tax Technology Group ("NTTG"), Deloitte & Touche Tax Technologies (DTTT), the ETS Internalization team to understand the tax function's strategy and ensure execution and support of technologies necessary to accomplish their goals.? Responsibilities also include the advocacy of Tax goals and objectives within ITS.? The Director will serve as a member of the CIO Leadership Team.? Scope includes all technologies used by Tax practitioners internally including financial, HR, resource management, lead management, client service tools and knowledge management.? Liaise directly with NTTG leadership, and with Tax management, DTTT and ETS Internalization, as necessary, to assure adequate support and efficient operation of client service technologies.

Key Relationships:? CIO Leadership Team, National Tax Technology leadership team, Tax Executive Committee members, and key Tax partners supporting specific
technology initiatives for Deloitte Tax.

Job Responsibilities:?
- Clearly understand the business and vision of various Tax stakeholders
- Ensure that the services developed by ITS are in line with Tax requirements and that these services deliver business value to Tax.??
- Participate in development of technology strategy for Tax with tax technology leaders
- Plan, coordinate and communicate functional requirements between Tax end-users and the appropriate IT teams ensuring that Tax systems are efficient and cost effective.?

- Ensuring that the services ITS provides meet function, industry and service line demands
- Ensuring that new services are developed by ITS in time to meet emerging business needs.

- Ensure that Tax is fully informed about ITS services and solutions, and related strategies, plans and delivery schedules
- Assure tax technology leadership and tax leadership are aware of all proposed technology projects under consideration for cross functional software development and/or implementation, and mandate appropriate tax involvement in defining requirements to meet the needs of Deloitte Tax
- Develop strong working relationships across the function and service lines to encourage systems solutions that truly meet business needs
- Ensure that system strategies are aligned nationally (globally as required), understand the vision of the system, map out and
communicate plans to achieve these strategies.
- Lead the development and implementation of improved standardized processes.
- Ensure appropriate processes are in place for data integrity maintenance.
- 8-12 years of relevant technology experience preferably in a professional services environment
- Advanced college degree in business preferred
- Tax technology experience preferred
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
- Working with an executive team in a trusted business advisor capacity to influence, articulate and assist in implementation of business/Tax strategy
- Developing people and leading teams (includes advocacy, managing virtually, supporting W/L balance, coaching and training)
