IVR Application Developer

Responsibilities

Software design, development, and implementation

Work with business team on feature / functions

Mentor / team lead of more junior engineers and consultants

Be an enthusiastic and self starting leader

Experience & expertise

5 or more years commercial software product development OR

5 years as a developer in (multiple) large IT projects.

2 years project management/team lead

Posses strong analytical, problem solving and solution design skills

Experience with reporting solutions and data mining

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including an ability to deal with people at various levels, from developers to executive

Education

CS degree or demonstrated accomplishments

Detailed Expertise and Experiences

IVR programming experience required (Intervoice, Nortel, etc.)

VXML experience is a plus

Experience working in a web framework: IVR interacting with web applications as a Data Access and Interpretation Layer

Experience with SQL and databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle)

Practical experience with XML based technologies and web services including SOAP

Experience in architecting and designing IVR applications

Experience integrating with legacy systems using protocols like MQSeries, is a plus

CTI knowledge/development is a plus
