Imaging Technician

A client located in East Hartford, CT has an immediate position available for a Imaging Technician.

The Imaging Technician will perform job setups and technical based functions for on-site and off-site production needs. Principle duties will include: providing technical assistance on projects, supporting in-house scan and customer on-site jobs under direction, seting up jobs in preparation for production, ensuring final products sent to customer are in proper format and meet original specifications, possibly participating in sales calls in support of new business opportunities, writing operational guidelines and monitoring performance to guideline, meeting with customer directly to ensure job requirements are understood, providing guidance to operations department as needed, providing technical troubleshooting for imaging based customers and employees as directed, updating Lason Operating Control System (LOCS), maintaining time tracking paperwork, maintaining appropriate housekeeping in work area, following all safety procedures and notifies supervisor of potential hazards promptly, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
?H.S. Diploma required
?Good communication skills, verbal and written
?Working knowledge of appropriate products, i.e. Kofax and Paperflow
?Thorough understanding of job set up process
?Understanding of data entry methodologies
?Experienced with MS Windows
?Experience with various output formats, .e. Visions, ITG, Paperclip, Minolta
?Understands network file transfer methods and various media types
?Previous experience using high volume scanners

With this job conditions may include office environment, computer room, production floor, warehouse and shipping/receiving. Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, ink and other environmental factors is possible and you may lift up to 35 lbs. periodically. This job is possibly temp to hire. Hours are 1st shift with pay ranging from $14-20 dependent on experience.
