Implementation - Network Engineer
Implementation Engineers wanted for a contract opportunity in Cary, NC.
Selected candidates will be responsible for performing both the technical and administrative activities associated with the implementation of various WAN services including frame-relay, DSL & point-to-point circuits. Candidates must be well versed in:
TCP/IP
Routing principals (BGP,EIGRP,Static)
Network/IP troubleshooting
WAN service offerings (frame-relay, DSL, point-to-point)
Physical circuit troubleshooting
LAN technologies & principals (F/Ethernet, Gig/E)
IP/VPN
Cisco Hardware (831s, 1711s, 1720/21s, Cat 6500s)
Windows XP Operating System & associated networking tools
Previous implementation skills and Cisco/Juniper certifications are a plus.
Candidates must be professional, well spoken and possess crisp, clear communications skills as they will interface directly with external customers. Work schedule will be primarily Monday-Friday, but candidates must be flexible as some weekend work may be required. This center must provide coverage from 9AM-9PM EST and hourly schedules include shifts from 9AM-6PM, 10AM-7PM, 11AM-8PM & Noon-9PM. Candidates will be given preference when possible, but must be flexible as business needs arise.
