Implementation Team Manager

This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the Client Implementations team, comprised of Implementation Managers, Analysts and Implementation Quality Assurance personnel. Develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures and ensure employee conformance to established practices. Additional responsibilities include:

Provide support and guidance to staff through coaching and mentoring and work with each employee to help achieve departmental level service goals

Maintain and revise department policies and procedures in accordance with changes to workflow and goals.

Coordinate training and support activities for client implementation team members

Manage issues and track progress of projects and problem resolution across the different functional organizations.

Serve as the liaison to Product Management, Senior Management Development groups and Sales Consultant to discuss and negotiate complex tradeoffs with all levels of IT

Must have the ability to drive issues and decisions to closure. Possess excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Coordinate with internal and external parties (lenders) for planning, launching, and project implementation. Coordinate efforts across multiple project teams, ensuring that interdependencies are not missed, that project priorities are negotiated, and that shared resources are employed effectively. Oversight of formal planning cycle for resources, budget and initiatives (quarterly)

Translate customer requirements into priorities as appropriate.

Provide consistent and comprehensive management reporting and program status reports including resource utilization and actual spend trends as well as ongoing program/project health analysis, significant issue tracking, and communication with management levels on a regular basis. Integrated project plans and project status reports (PMP and RUP deliverables preferred).

Risk and issue management. Responsible for ensuring effective delivery on multiple initiatives

Qualifications
Must have a BS degree, Master's Degree a plus
Must have 8 years of project and/or program management experience
PMI PMP preferred. If not PMP certified, qualifying candidate will be expected to achieve certification within 6 months of hire date.
Expert-level understanding of project structure and process
Ability to organize teams and processes
Demonstrated successful project and program management; experience and knowledge, and the ability to apply commonly used project management principles, practices and techniques.
Ability to effectively coordinate multiple, concurrent program activities, while understanding and managing dependencies.
Demonstrated knowledge in problem solving and in identifying and redirecting "at risk" programs
Very organized and can track multiple threads
Strong ability to prioritize at macro and micro level
Participative management style; advocate of team concepts.
Excellent leadership skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3-5 years industry experience (mortgage banking)
3-5 years in software development
Proficiency with Excel, budget management and Project Management software
Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies and deliverables (RUP)
