Implementation Technician

This position will perform the following responsibilities:

? Provide Technical consultation to prospective customers with, or for SoftPro Sales Account Managers
? Coordinate and schedule SoftPro product deployment in collaboration with SoftPro Implementation Specialists
? Install and configure all remote or on-site* SoftPro products
? Provide basic SoftPro product usage overviews to customers
? Provide In-house technical consultation on product development to R&D department
? Assist R&D department with Software QA testing
? Report software issues encountered during implementation or configuration to R&D
? Contribute to the SoftPro Knowledge Base
? Maintain knowledge of basic networking concepts
? Maintain knowledge of current and emerging computing technologies
? Perform other duties as assigned
? 15% US Travel Required.
Job Requirements
We are looking for an individual with two or more years of experience in IT and two or more years in a customer service oriented role, with excellent communications and problem solving skills. Above all the candidate must be a customer service oriented cooperative team player with an exceptionally high attention to detail.

Skill Requirements
? Must be proficient in Administration of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
? Possess an intermediate knowledge level of the Internet, Microsoft SQL Server 7 and 2000, networking concepts, remote control technologies, Microsoft Word and Corel Word Perfect software
? Basic knowledge of FTP, Terminal Server, Citrix Presentation Server, Crystal Reports, database design and database access methodologies are desirable, but not required.

Education:
An Associate?s Degree or higher in Computer Science is desirable but not required. CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Microsoft Desktop and Server operating systems certifications (MCP) are also highly desirable, but not required. Comparable IT industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and certifications.
