Incident Manager

Position Description:

Key Responsibilities include:
? Champion and promote Incident Management ensuring process is used, accepted and working efficiently and effectively within IT
? Lead planning and execution of key Incident Management initiatives. Provide similar role to other processes as needed.
? Lead delivery of key Incident Management measures and metrics
? Analyze results to develop and execute on action plans for improvement
? Represent, gather feedback, and work with key stakeholders on continual process improvement
? Participate in defining tool and reporting requirements that support the Incident Management process
? Work with Management to ensure consistent execution of the Incident Management process
? Ensure customer satisfaction for the Incident Management process
? Provide operational support for process execution including daily incident review, providing guidance during War Rooms, and participating in on-call rotation

Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven Leadership and facilitation skills
- Ability to guide, mentor, and motivate technical personnel
- Data analysis skills
- Understanding of ITIL Service Management processes, ITIL certification
- Experience with Incident Management process
- Solid business acumen and working knowledge of how IT contributes to the support of business products or service
- Willing and able to champion, communicate and promote process and its business value
- Working knowledge of Remedy
- Able to work across departmental boundaries with audiences at various levels of management
- Skilled at influencing and leading change
