Information Assurance Research Librarian

Key Role: Research DoD and intelligence community inquiries related to information assurance, defense of information operations, and information warfare. Interface with R&D, S&T, and laboratory communities. Collect, analyze, organize, and distribute scientific and technical information. Apply knowledge of information assurance, defensive information operations, research and development, and the intelligence and defense communities. Maintain knowledge of a wide array of resources, including books, briefs, electronic and online databases, Internet sites, and other software applications.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:


-5+ years of experience with professional work required


-Experience with federal or DoD consulting preferred


-Experience with information assurance or research and development preferred


-Experience with government documents


-Ability to work independently


-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills required 


 


Education/Certifications or equivalent required:


MA or MS degree in Library Science or Information Science required


 


Clearance:


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
