We are currently seeking to fill two Information Protection Coordinator positions for our client in Lakeland, FL. Location: Lakeland, FL

Salary: $63,500-$87,500

Type: Perm



Responsibilities:

- Information protection policies

- Risk assessment/compliance services

- Information protection project leadership

- Information security consulting



Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or related disciplines or equivalent experience

- Previous experience in IT and a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis, and applied security

- Knowledge of ISC2 CBK 10 Domains

- Knowledge of ISO 17799, CobiT, or ITIL best practices

- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulatory requirements

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulatory requirements

- Knowledge of PCI Data Security Standards

- Proven skills with implementing and monitoring security controls in the systems development life cycle

- Demonstrate non-authoritative leadership in a matrix-management environment

- Experience with working in multiple areas to meet security goals on a variety of projects

- Ability to identify and assess risk to determine action

- Ability to comprehend security concepts and develop solutions

- Demonstrates leadership in security related situations

- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking with strong abilities in relationship management

- Competency in developing effective and secure solutions involving ambiguous, diverse and complex business issues

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong verbal communication abilities

- Excellent written communication skills including familiarity with Structured Writing

- Must show maturity, integrity, and ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact



Preferred Qualifications:

- Seven to nine years of relevant business and/or IT experience with a broad range of exposure to all aspects of business planning, systems analysis and application development

- Five or more years experience in information security

- Ability to lead and coach in all key aspects of Information Protection

- Ability to train information systems project teams and associates in the business areas on: ISO 17799, COSO, and CobiT best practices; Information Security best practices

- Understanding of advanced security concepts

- Experience working on a Computer Incident Response Team, Response Team

- Security certification(s) (CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.)
