Information Security Consultant

As an Information Security Consultant with U.S. Bank, you will: Participate as senior member of threat and vulnerability team, which is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and administering USBank processes and systems to monitor threats to network security, manage system security vulnerabilities, minimize the risk of security incidents, and respond to security incidents. Be responsible for intrusion detection process management, antivirus/antimalware program management, security patch management, vulnerability assessment and remediation, firewall auditing and testing and digital forensics. While we expect that you?ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require: A college degree. Five years' experience in information security practice and deep knowledge of two or more technical security fields required. Broad technical knowledge and detailed technical knowledge in multiple areas of security systems and processes required. Experience in two or more of the following required: firewall configuration, antivirus/antimalware, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, intrusion monitoring. Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to provide project leadership in developing, implementing, maintaining, and administering security tools and processes. The ability to act independently under general direction. The ability to direct the work of other security staff preferred. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and practices to satisfy them preferred. CISSP, CISA or CISM preferred.
