JOB DESCRIPTION


Firewall Design and implementation for entire corporation to include all subsidiaries. Firewall rule base implementation for day to day activities, monitoring of firewall logs and trending for security related activity. Secure extranet (extranet to include all external connections into our network) design and implementation, working with line of business and vendor. Secure the corporate routed and switched network, this includes access control to all routers and switches, assists with design, authentication and monitoring for unauthorized activity. Network monitoring with intrusion detection techniques for unauthorized activity and network security. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED
Checkpoint firewall administration in an enterprise level environment
Nokia IPSO and firewall hardware management experience
Excellent understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols
Experience with, and understanding of Network Management Systems
Experience with Linux, Open BSD is preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Information Security Engr, - Typically requires a Bachelor's and 6+ years of directly related experience. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of data security practices and procedures, network security, application security, database administration, programming, systems analysis procedures, database software and operating systems.
