Information Security Engineer - (L-3 GSIMS23688)

Mid-level Information Security Engineer to provide support and coordinate the system security certification and accreditation.

MANDATORY SKILLS:
-Provide expert level information security engineering support in examining the scope of the system.
-Expert knowledge of INFOSEC issues related to large data repositories. Experience with the design, development, and implementation of information security requirement for large, complex databases is required.
-Expert knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Oracle products, specifically Oracle 9i and Oracle 9iFS.
-Knowledge of the capabilities/limitations of J2EE principles and XML.
-Provide systems engineering support in the areas of network architecture development, web technology implementation, INFOSEC engineering and modeling, and enterprise engineering.
-Perform requirements analysis, solutions design, and systems integration support during project planning, design, development, and deployment phases.
-Provide consulting and engineering support on LAN technologies, protocols, and design concepts.
-Perform project support activities to include developing written documentation, graphics design, oral presentation, and activity scheduling.
-Ability to perform all roles and responsibilities identified above.
-Working knowledge of CPMP and IS Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.
-Working knowledge and understanding of information systems architecture.
-Ability to understand long-range goals and work in a self-initiated manor toward multiple project goals.
-Clear understanding of the Agency and customer's IT resources (i.e. networks, platforms and standards) and ability to apply this knowledge to meet project goals.
-Ability to document and manage stakeholder, customer and project requirements.
-Ability to apply expertise in MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and Lotus Notes.
-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and in writing.
