Information Security Analysts/Engineers

Locations:  Crystal City, VA & Washington, DC

 Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  Top Secret clearance required, SCI access preferred.  Candidates must possess experience working with intrusion detection systems and/or firewalls and researching/tracking vulnerabilities.  Experience with Sourcefire IDS is a plus.Will work with a team of Security Engineers in a Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC) type environment reviewing security incidents, managing security technologies (such as IDS), documenting processes and escalation procedures, and working with systems administrators and network engineers to manage and resolve security incidents.Experience with developing new signatures/rule sets.Will perform sensor tuning and general IDS troubleshooting.Will develop new signatures/rule sets and perform advanced offline analysis.Engineer will research and track vulnerabilities as well as perform penetration studies and vulnerability assessments.Incident response handling.Engineers must be willing to work shifts in a 24/7 environment.
